YOS - operating system

This document describes YOS (abbreviation: 'why-OS'). It is a proprietary real-time operating system for micro-controllers. YOS design was inspired by the UNIX and Matlab environments. It provides a robust and easy-to-use interface and addresses needed for real-time applications with high requirements on fast response and robustness, such as electronic speed controllers. The operating system provides sub-millisecond response times, robust and independent communication over multiple interfaces simultaneously, and also standardized user interface with dedicated software tools.

SWTools

To access the YOS device you will need SWTools. SWTools is a set of multiple tools for communicating, setting, debugging, and automatization with any YOS device.
